M. Bison Bust
A Street Fighter M. Bison bust — a slower, process-first build focused on prep, technical tightness, and pushing skin and translucency.

The Dictator, start to finish. I wanted to slow this one down and treat the process itself as the point — really prep the model, define a simple plan, and then focus on technical tightness and more realistic skin rather than racing to a finish.
Primed
Got this guy all primed up first. I’ve been trying to take more time prepping and defining a thorough, simple process before I ever pick up a brush. From here I could start base coating and bring him to life. One of my big focuses for the next few pieces is skin and translucency, so I knew that’s where a lot of the attention was going to go.
Blocking In the Color
Got his metal pieces and the suit blocked in, and I was immediately loving that red. Lots more to do at this stage, but even flat it already had that iconic M. Bison silhouette popping.
Building It Up
From there it was about layering — pushing shadows and edges, painting the belt buckle, and tightening every panel of the suit.
Finished
All done. I really wanted to focus on technical tightness and more realistic skin, and it’s definitely an improvement over past attempts — though I’ll keep working on it. The key I’m finding is just subtlety: not racing to finish anything, and even sometimes just putting it down for the day. Fresh eyes always help me see things I missed before, so it’s been nice to refine and improve the process. On to the next one.
